WhatsApp’s Multi-Account: No Dual App Needed, Separate Notifications and Chats

The popular instant messaging app WhatsApp has introduced the multi-account feature for its Android users. After requesting this feature, users can add more than one account in their WhatsApp app. This feature will provide the convenience of multiple accounts in a single app, similar to apps like Facebook and Instagram.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, I have been testing this feature in WhatsApp beta version 2.23.17.8. Currently, this feature is in the development phase and is only available to beta testers. The new update will be made available to all users in a short period of time.

In this update: Personal and private chats will remain in separate apps. Notifications will also be separate for both accounts. Until now, only one account could be added in one WhatsApp. To use more than one account, users will have to utilize features like dual apps or dual mode cloning.
