Reliance Jio Collaborates with IIT Bombay for ‘Bharat GPT’ Launch, Introducing TV Operating System

Reliance is gearing up to launch ‘Bharat GPT,’ similar to Jio Chat GPT. The company has also initiated collaboration with IIT Bombay for this endeavor. Akash Ambani, Chairman of Jio Infocomm, addressed this information during his speech at the annual tech-fest of IIT Bombay. Akash Ambani stated that the company is inspired by large language models like Chat-GPT and generative AI. He mentioned that more details about these applications will be revealed in the coming days.

Company to Launch Operating System for Jio Television

Ambani mentioned that they are considering launching their own operating system for Jio Television. In addition to this, Reliance Jio is actively working on launching products and services in various sectors such as commerce, communication, and devices.

Ambani Stated, ‘For Me, AI Means Inclusion of Everything’

Akash Ambani expressed, “The company is preparing to launch AI as a vertical in its organization. For me, AI means Artificial Intelligence, and it encompasses everything, meaning everything will be done together.”

Air Fiber Service Launched in September

The company had started its Air Fiber service on September 19th this year, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi. Following the launch, this service was introduced in 8 cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. Jio had set a fee of INR 1000 for installing Jio Air Fiber.
