At Kankaria Lake Front in Ahmedabad, the entry fee is Rs.5 for individuals below 12 years and Rs.10 for those above 12 years. A total of 10 tickets can be obtained. Entry is permitted through 7 gates, and tickets can be purchased from the ticket window. Citizens now have the option to acquire tickets online for entry to Kankaria and its various attractions. The website www.kankarialaketickets.com has been launched for online ticket reservations, and tickets can also be purchased through the AMC Seva mobile application.
Digital Means for Ticket Purchase
Tickets can be obtained via SMS on mobile numbers. Visitors interested in Kankaria Lake Front can purchase tickets online from any location using digital methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Mobile Internet Banking, UPI Wallet, Fast Tag, Card Swipe, Sketch, NFC. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has introduced online ticketing, requiring visitors to provide their mobile number, name, and e-mail ID. After payment, a QR code-bearing ticket is generated, which is sent to the mobile number via SMS and must be presented at the entrance gate.
Multiple Entrances and Entry Fees
Currently, there are seven entrances for the public at Kankaria Lake Front. Entry is permitted through these gates, with a fee of Rs 5 for individuals up to 12 years and Rs 10 for those above 12 years, payable at the respective entrance gates. Additionally, visitors to attractions like Kids City, Zoo, Balwatika, and Butterfly Park must purchase tickets at fixed rates, separate from the general entry fee.
