Avvenire Tactus E-Scooter: All-Season Mobility with Autonomous Driving Feature

American startup Avvenire has launched its new all-season electric scooter, Tectus, in the global market. What sets it apart is that its top speed is 32 kmph, eliminating the need for any insurance or license for this scooter.

The electric vehicle manufacturing company claims that this electric scooter provides a range of up to 160 kilometers on a single full charge. Additionally, it offers the option of solar charging. The company has launched two variants, Deluxe and Ultimate, of the EV. Apart from that, it is equipped with autonomous driving features.

Avvenire Tectus: Futuristic Electric Scooter – No License, Just Style!

The entry-level Tectus Deluxe variant is priced at $6,995 (approximately ₹5.79 lakh), while the top variant, Tectus Ultimate, is priced at $8,999 (approximately ₹7.45 lakh). The company has initiated bookings for the Tectus model. Customers can book it by paying a $100 (approximately ₹8284) token money through the official website. However, the company has not provided any information regarding the delivery of the e-scooter so far.

The Avvenire Tactus is designed to cater to the needs of urban dwellers and city commuters who require efficient and quick transportation within limited areas. At the same time, its spacious cabin offers the freedom to ride comfortably. It is an all-weather, on-road, and off-road mobility scooter.

The new scooter offers various storage compartment options to accommodate different items. The scooter’s usage can be tailored to various needs. The Avvenire Tactus is available in three color options – red, blue, and black. This is a single-seater electric vehicle (EV).

The Deluxe variant of the electric scooter offers the feature of A/C and heater. Whereas, the Top variant Ultimate comes with features like reverse function, storage compartments, hot and cold cup holders, stereo sound, tire pressure monitoring, keyless entry with fingerprint scanner, in-built GPS tracking, alarm watch, backup camera, along with full-throttle capabilities. Wireless charging, trickle solar-charging, and fast charging within two hours are available.

With all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup in the scooter, it has 2kW dual electric motors. Its top speed is 32kmph. To power the electric motors, the Deluxe variant has a 2.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack, while the Ultimate variant has 5.4kWh. The company claims that the EV provides a range of up to 160 kilometers on a single charge.
