Redmi’s Affordable Smartphone A3x Launches in India: Phone with 8MP Dual AI Camera and 5000mAh Battery, Starting at ₹6999

Yesterday, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched a budget-friendly smartphone in the Indian market. The company has priced this entry-level mobile at just ₹6,999.

The Redmi A3x smartphone features an 8MP dual AI camera and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It has been launched in a single memory variant supporting 3GB RAM + 64GB storage.

This phone is available in Aurora Green color in offline retail stores. It will soon be offered with Midnight Black and Moonlight White color options in the coming days. In India, the Redmi A3x will compete with Realme C51 (priced at ₹7,999), Lava O2 (priced at ₹7,999), and Moto G04s (priced at ₹6,999).

Display: The Redmi A3x smartphone features a 6.71-inch HD+ Waterdrop notch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels. It utilizes an IPS LCD display that operates at a 90Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Processor: Launched on Android 14, the Redmi A3x is equipped with the Unisoc T603 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz for smooth performance.

Camera: For photography, the smartphone sports an 8MP dual AI camera setup on the rear panel. It also includes a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

Battery: The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports USB Type-C charging at 10W.

Other Features: It includes a physical fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock for security. The phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 193 grams.
