Tech company Oppo is set to launch a new budget segment smartphone, the ‘Oppo K12x 5G’, in the Indian market on July 29. The company has confirmed the launch date on its official website.
The Oppo K12x 5G smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,100mAh battery with 45W Super-VOOC charging support, and a 50MP camera. Additionally, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset for optimal performance.
While the company has not yet shared all the details about the smartphone, it has already been launched in the Chinese market, and its features and specifications have been leaked in the media.
Oppo K12x 5G: Expected Specifications
Display: The Oppo K12x 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a peak brightness of 1600 nits and a resolution of 2400×1080. The display is also claimed to support splash touch technology, allowing use with wet hands. Additionally, it is IP54-rated for protection.
Camera: For photography, the Nord CE4’s rear panel may include a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 16MP front camera is expected to be available for selfies and video calling.
Software and OS: The smartphone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, running on the latest Oxygen OS based on Android 14 out of the box.
Battery and Charging: The Oppo K12x 5G is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. The phone also includes a Battery Health Engine.
Connectivity: For connectivity, the phone is expected to offer 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, FM Radio, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, there is an option to expand storage via a microSD card.
