Due to the unrest, the holiday plans of many Gujaratis wishing to relax in Udaipur have been disrupted. Many last-minute hotel bookings had to be canceled, and tour packages had to be changed.

Hotel Bookings Canceled by 10-20% Due to Unrest in Udaipur

The recent knife fight incident between students in Udaipur has had significant repercussions. Following the unrest, the police are closely monitoring the situation. In the meantime, Gujarati tourists who had planned a three-day, two-night tour package to Udaipur for a mini vacation have seen disruptions. 

Due to the disturbances, 10-20% of hotel bookings have been canceled. In Udaipur alone, over 200 hotel room bookings have been canceled.

Gujarati Tourists Opt for Kumbhalgarh-Ranakpur Instead

Tour operators report that due to the unrest in Udaipur, Gujarati tourists have opted to cancel their hotel bookings and visit Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur instead. Additionally, many have chosen Chittorgarh as their alternative destination. 

Some families have enjoyed their vacation in Nathdwara. As a result of the cancellations in Udaipur, most hotels in Nathdwara have become fully booked.
