IndiGo Flight’s Baggage Mishap: Passengers’ Luggage Left Behind at Singapore Airport

The flight, originally scheduled to depart at 5:40 AM, had to return to Singapore. During this time, the flight circled in the air for about two and a half hours. Passengers at Singapore Airport were left waiting for their luggage. Those heading to Bengaluru faced a delay in reaching their destination.

IndiGo’s management faced criticism from passengers who expressed their frustration on social media. One user on social media tagged IndiGo Airlines with a message that humorously praised the “impossible achievement” of the airline. IndiGo’s staff had forgotten to unload passengers’ baggage from the flight.

IndiGo Airlines’ flight 6E 1006 from Singapore to Bengaluru faced an unusual incident on Tuesday. The ground staff in Singapore failed to unload the luggage of the passengers who had arrived at the airport earlier. The flight, bound for Bengaluru, took off with the baggage of previous passengers still on board.

Shortly after takeoff, the pilot was informed about the oversight – that the luggage of earlier passengers had not been unloaded. In response to this situation, the pilot decided to return the flight to Singapore to offload the baggage.
