Ahmedabad to Get 7 City Entry Gates with Hotels, Gardens, Cafes, Rooftop Viewing Galleries, and Themes from Saurashtra to North Gujarat
As part of Ahmedabad’s unique identity as a World Heritage City, entry points that introduce visitors to both the modern and heritage aspects of the city will be constructed.
These city entry gates will be established at seven entry points, including Vaishnodevi, Sanathal, and Tapovan. These entry points will feature attractive designs, decorative lighting, and landscaping.
City Entry Gates to be Built on Major Entry Routes
Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani announced that city entry gates will be constructed on highways connecting to the city, as provisioned in this year’s budget. Coordination will be undertaken with the National Highway Authority, the Gujarat Government’s Road and Building Department, and AUDA to build city entry gates on the major seven entry routes.
The design of the entry gates will be adapted to the site conditions, and the surrounding roads will also be improved.
City Entry Gates to Shine with Attractive Design and Decorative Lighting
The city entry gates will feature attractive designs and decorative lighting to enhance their appeal. Around the city entry gates, connectivity to AMTS, BRTS, and the metro will be provided for commuters. Additionally, a rooftop viewing gallery will be constructed on the city entry gates, allowing visitors to enjoy panoramic views.
The design of the entry gates will incorporate both heritage and modern themes. The area around the city entry gates will include decorative lighting, landscaping, and plantation to create a visually appealing environment.
