Muktesh Pardeshi, India’s G-20 Special Secretary, mentioned that hotels are actively preparing unique millet-based dishes while foreign leaders are accommodated, as they have a preference for these. In addition to this, special attention is also being given to welcoming the G-20 leaders personally. The rich cultural heritage, textiles, and paintings of the country will be prominently showcased during their visit. This emphasis is because when foreign guests leave after their meetings, they take back memories of India with them. Pardeshi further stated that they anticipate over 10,000 delegates participating in the conference.
India will hand over the G-20 presidency to Brazil.
They have stated that they will identify hotels in Central Delhi, Aerocity, Gurugram, and some neighboring areas as VVIP hotels for accommodating global leaders, their delegations, and media representatives during the summit. During the final session of the summit, a symbolic transition of the G20 presidency to Brazil will take place, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be able to formally hand it over to Brazil’s President on November 30th. Therefore, the official transfer will occur in a common manner during the summit.
