Spiritual Guru Jaggi Vasudev Recovers Successfully from Brain Surgery
The founder of the spiritual organization Isha Foundation, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, has undergone successful brain surgery. He had been complaining of headaches for many days prior to the operation. After the surgery, there has been steady improvement in his condition.
Dr. Vinod Suri, a neurosurgeon at Apollo Delhi, stated in a health bulletin on Thursday, “A part of Sadhguru’s brain had become compressed and clot-like. This could have been potentially life-threatening. His operation took place on March 17th in Delhi, and he is showing very rapid improvement in his health.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed his wishes for Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s speedy recovery over the phone.
Recent Complaints of Headaches Over the Last 4 Weeks
Officials from the Isha Foundation have revealed that Sadhguru had been complaining of headaches for the past 3-4 weeks. Despite this, he continued to work tirelessly. On March 14th, he sought advice from Dr. Vinod Suri, a neurosurgeon at Apollo Hospital in Delhi.
It was discovered through MRI scans that there was a clot-like accumulation in a part of his brain. He also experienced dizziness. However, he continued to conduct meetings. On March 17th, his condition worsened significantly, and he was admitted to Apollo Delhi.
Prime Minister Modi has expressed his wishes for Sadhguru’s speedy recovery.
Sadhguru’s Humorous Remark Post-Surgery: “Brain Came Out Empty”
Following the surgery on March 17th, Sadhguru’s jovial style of expression surfaced when he quipped, “The doctors opened my head to find something, but they found nothing. My brain came out completely empty, so they put it back in. Now, I am fine.”
Doctors performed the operation, removing the clot successfully. He was kept on life support for a brief period. Sadhguru’s health has been steadily improving. On Wednesday, he also released a video updating his health condition.
