India’s First Health Checkup Center Opens at Ahmedabad Airport: Full Body Checkup in 15-20 Minutes
Advanced Health Services at the Airport
Due to busy lifestyles, people often neglect their health. To address this issue, AB Plus Hospital (Asian Bariatrics Hospital) in Ahmedabad has announced the launch of a ‘Health Lounge’ at Terminal-1 of SVP International Airport. This health lounge offers a full-body scan in just 15-20 minutes. Passengers flying out of Ahmedabad can make good use of their waiting time by availing themselves of this service.
Cutting-Edge Health Services at the Airport
The AB Plus Health Lounge provides various advanced health services, including automated eye scans using AI-integrated technology. This technology helps in detecting early and late changes in chronic diseases such as diabetes, cataracts, and hypertension. Additionally, passengers can undergo ‘Body Composition Analysis’ at the health lounge, which goes beyond BMI. It assesses the levels of fat, muscle, and water in the body and prepares a muscle analysis report.
Full-Body Checkup Without a Single Needle
Dr. Mahendra Narwaria, a robotic surgeon with over 25 years of experience in bariatric surgery at AB Plus Hospital, stated that the ‘AB Plus Health Lounge’ is designed to raise health awareness among passengers. The health lounge at the airport uses technology that allows for a full-body checkup without a single needle, preparing reports that can detect potential problems early. The health lounge will conduct seven different types of tests, requiring passengers to dedicate only 15-20 minutes.
Seven Different Types of Tests Available
At the AB Plus Health Lounge at Ahmedabad Airport, passengers can undergo seven different types of tests, each costing ₹500. This service has been launched exclusively at Ahmedabad Airport in coordination with Adani. The hospital has successfully tested 1,200 patients within two months before launching this service at the airport.
