Surge in COVID-19 Cases: 12 New Positives Reported in State, Active Cases Reach 44, 6 Fresh Cases in Ahmedabad
The spread of coronavirus continues to rise in the country, and Gujarat has witnessed a steady increase in positive cases. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s data, Gujarat now ranks fifth in the country in terms of total COVID-19 cases. Yesterday, there was an increase in three cases, bringing the total active cases to 44.
Active Cases in Ahmedabad:
In Ahmedabad, there are currently 22 active cases. Five new cases were reported today, with locations including Navrangpura, Thaltej, Gota, and Maninagar. Out of these cases, three are males and two are females. One case has a travel history to Delhi, and another case is from Surendranagar. Currently, Ahmedabad has 22 active cases, with one under hospital care and 21 under home isolation.

Yesterday, Ahmedabad city reported six new COVID-19 cases, including four males and two females.
Highest Cases in Kerala Today:
Today, Kerala recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country, with 266 cases. Karnataka follows with 70 cases, Maharashtra with 15 cases, Tamil Nadu with 13 cases, and Gujarat with 12 cases.
Active Cases Ranking in States:
Kerala leads in active cases with a total of 2,872, followed by Karnataka with 175, Tamil Nadu with 117, and Gujarat with 44. Maharashtra reported more cases than Gujarat today, bringing its active cases to 68.
