Mother-in-Law Sells Women’s Eggs, Hospitalized; Allegation of 25K Deal

An effort is underway to investigate the sale of eggs. Women have accused their in-laws of selling her eggs for ₹25,000 in the hospital. At the same time, the complainant alleges that when she talked to the accused doctor about this, the doctor tried to trap her.

The hospital has denied these allegations. Regarding this, the complainant has filed a case of harassment along with human organ trafficking for dowry for almost ten days. The case is under the jurisdiction of the Sangāner Police Station in Jaipur.

Apology Demanded and Taken Back Home

According to police reports, a 20-year-old woman named Pariniti filed a complaint stating that her marriage was with Hitesh (name changed) in May 2022. Both brothers married their sister-in-law in a similar manner. Her family had given a good dowry, but after the marriage, her mother-in-law started harassing her for less dowry.

Distressed by the dowry issue, she went to her father’s house. When asked about reconciliation, her father explained to her and calmed her down. Almost 2 months later, the mother-in-law and sister-in-law came to meet her. After her father’s stern warning, the mother-in-law took her back and apologized, taking her husband’s side. The allegation is that the husband is having an affair with another woman.

Sent to Hospital Under Pressure

The complainant stated that a woman named Sonia used to come to her mother-in-law’s house. This year, on March 29, her mother-in-law forced her to go to the hospital with Sonia. Even though she wasn’t feeling unwell, she was forced to go to the hospital.

At the hospital, she was pressured to undergo a check-up. Under pressure, a test tube was inserted into her stomach by the doctor. Due to the pain, the doctor called two nurses to hold her down.

Under Pressure to Undergo Sonography After Tests

Due to unbearable pain, she was forced to undergo sonography. She was brought to the Durgāpur Hospital with Sonia under pressure from her mother-in-law. Blood was taken for examination at the hospital. The doctor forcibly advised taking a shot in the stomach. When she complained of pain, the doctor advised her to take another shot. After taking the shot, she started feeling dizzy. The doctor said that the pain would go away after some time.

Correction of Documents

The complainant alleges that on April 1, around 11 o’clock at night, she was forcibly taken to the hospital with Sonia. There, the doctor gave her an injection in the stomach. When she complained of pain, the doctor gave her a shot. When she felt like she was going to faint, the doctor corrected some documents.

When she was in a condition like fainting, the doctor corrected some documents based on her condition. From April 4 onwards, Sonia kept taking her to the hospital for check-ups. Injections were started to be given daily at the hospital. Medicines were given to eat when there was pain in the stomach.

Refusal to Talk About Hospital

On April 4th, in the evening, the father had called to talk. Despite several attempts, the mother did not pick up the phone. Around 7 in the evening, the father called the mother and told her to talk to him.

Before talking to the father, the mother did not inform him about the hospital. She threatened – “If you wish, I can let you off without any trouble, then you’ll regret it later.” After the conversation, the father asked his brother to take his sister-in-law. While taking her, the mother asked her brother to turn back tomorrow morning.

Disclosure of Egg Selling

On the morning of April 5th, when the mother did not return, the hospital nurse came home with her sister-in-law around 2 in the afternoon. When told to take her to the hospital, they entered the house. When she refused, they forcibly took her hand and brought her out of the house. When asked by the father, she said – she needs to go to the hospital, otherwise she will have a lump in her stomach. She was forced to go on a scooter.

When she resisted forcefully, the father did not intervene. There were arguments repeatedly about taking her to the hospital. The nurse from the hospital threatened her by saying that we will take her forcibly.

The mother has made a deal to sell her eggs. She has also given 25 thousand rupees. After finding out from the nurse, it was found that the deal to sell eggs was done without consent. Along with the hospital doctors, she was also threatened.
