Yamaha Motor India has launched the updated version of its popular scooter, Aerox 155 S, equipped with smart-key technology in the Indian market. This latest system provides features like answer back, lock/unlock, and immobilizer. The answer back feature assists riders in locating their scooter in a crowded area by activating the blinker and buzzer sounds. The immobilizer function allows the scooter to be locked when it goes out of the range of the smart key series, thus protecting it from theft.

Aerox 155S Blue Square comes in two color options – Silver and Racing Blue – showroom priced at 1,50,600 rupees (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2024 Yamaha Aerox 155S: Performance

The 2024 Yamaha Aerox 155S version, like the regular variant, is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which generates 14.79 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and 13.9 nm of peak torque at 0RP60RP. This engine has been updated with the BS6 Phase-2 standards along with an on-board diagnostics (OBD-II) system. Moreover, it is now compatible with E20 fuel.
