Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launching on August 12: New Features Include LED Lighting

Royal Enfield is set to launch the updated version of its most popular motorcycle, the Classic 350, on August 12 in Mumbai. The new generation model of the company’s best-selling classic bike will feature updates.

Price to Be Higher Than Current Model

The motorcycle’s price will be higher than the current model, which ranges between ₹1.93-2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The Royal Enfield Classic 350 competes with Honda CB350 and Jawa 350 in the Indian market.

New Generation Classic 350 to Feature LED Lighting Setup

The biggest update in the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be its lighting setup, which includes LED headlights, LED tail lights, and LED turn indicators. Additionally, the bike may feature the latest instrument cluster, new switchgear, and new color options. There might be minor changes to the fuel tank and side body panels. Alloy wheels with tubeless tires and ABS could also be offered as options.

New Royal Enfield Classic 350: Performance

No mechanical changes are expected in the new generation Classic 350. This bike comes with a J-series 349cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, also found in the company’s Bullet 350 and Hunter 350. This engine generates a maximum power of 20.17hp and a maximum torque of 27Nm. In terms of transmission, the engine is tuned with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Royal Enfield Classic 350: Features and Hardware

For a comfortable ride, the bike features twin downtube frame telescopic forks at the front and rear. It comes with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with tube tires.

In terms of the braking system, the mid and top variants of the bike come with dual-channel ABS with 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes. The base variant features rear drum brakes with single-channel ABS.

Features

The new generation Classic may come with a USB charging port, analog speedometer, fuel gauge, and a new digital instrument cluster with a service reminder. Like other models, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will come with all accessories and customization options.
