Tata Unveils Ultra EV 7M Electric Bus: 21-Seater with 160 Km Range, Plus 6 New Vehicles
Tata Motors has introduced the Ultra EV 7M electric bus at its launch event, ‘Pravas 4.0’. The Tata Ultra EV 7M has seating for 21 passengers and is designed to handle the crowded city roads and narrow streets.
Tata Motors Unveils New Commercial Passenger Vehicles
In addition to the Ultra EV 7M, Tata Motors has launched a series of commercial passenger vehicles across various segments. This includes the Tata Magna, Tata Magic EV, Tata Magic Bi-Fuel, Tata Ultra Prime CNG, Tata City Ride Prime, and Tata LPO 1822.
E-Bus Fully Charges in 2.5 Hours
The Tata Ultra EV 7M electric bus is equipped with a 213kW electric motor for performance. To power the motor, a 200kWh Li-ion battery is provided, which is IP67-rated. The company claims that the bus will travel 160KM on a full charge. It supports fast charging, allowing it to be fully charged in just 2.5 hours.
Safety Features: EBS and ESC Included
Regarding features, the Ultra EV 7M includes an Electronic Braking System (EBS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and regenerative braking technology. Additionally, the electric bus comes with an automatic passenger counter and an advanced Intelligent Transport System (ITS) for better monitoring.
