Moto Morini Unveils Calibro 650 Cruiser Motorcycle in India

Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Moto Morini, has introduced a new cruiser motorcycle, the Calibro 650, on a global scale. Following the X-Cape Adventure and Seimeijo Scrambler, Calibro 650 becomes the third addition to the company’s lineup.

Moto Morini has not yet shared comprehensive details about this bike. More information about it will be revealed later this year. It is expected to be launched in India in 2024 and will compete with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Kawasaki Vulcan S, and Benelli 502C in the Indian market.

Moto Morini Calibro 650: Design

In terms of design, the bike adheres to the classic cruiser style. In the images shared by the company, it features round LED headlights with chrome cowlings on all sides. Additionally, it sports a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with a capacity of 15 liters. The bike also gets a low-slung and comfortable split-seat setup.

The bike will be available in a two-tone paint scheme of red and black with a premium appeal. It also comes with silver elements on the engine and several chrome accents, adding to its charismatic presence.

Moto Morini Calibro 650: Presentation

The new Moto Morini Calibro 650 cruiser bike is powered by the same engine as the X-Cape Adventure and Seimezzo Scrambler. This 649cc parallel-twin engine generates 60 bhp of power and 54 Nm of torque. When it comes to transmission, it features a 6-speed gearbox.

Moto Morini Calibro 650: Braking and Suspension

For a comfortable ride, the Calibro features telescopic front forks in the front and twin-shock absorbers in the rear. For braking, the bike comes equipped with dual-channel ABS and JJuan calipers with a single disc in the front and rear. It rides on 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheels with wider tires. The seat height stands at 720 mm.
