Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Launches in India: Updated SUV with New Exterior Design, 9-Seater Option Available
Indian car manufacturer Mahindra has launched its most popular SUV, Bolero Neo Plus, in the Indian market. The new version of the SUV comes with a 9-seater layout, while the Bolero Neo comes in a 7-seater configuration. Bolero Neo Plus is launched in two variants – P4 and P10, while the regular Bolero Neo comes in three variants. The price of Neo Plus starts from 11.39 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). In comparison, the 7-seater Neo is priced Rs. 1.49 lakh cheaper than the Neo Plus.
Booking for SUV Begins
Booking for the SUV has commenced. Customers can book it online or visit their nearest dealership to book and expect delivery within a short time. The SUV doesn’t directly compete with any other car, but it will be available as a cheaper option compared to Mahindra Scorpio Classic and Scorpio S11.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: Exterior Updates
Talking about the design of Bolero Neo Plus, it has undergone some cosmetic changes compared to the 7-seater Bolero Neo. Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peak Logo’ and a new grille design with chrome slats are introduced in the front. Its bumper has also been updated with a mesh pattern for air dam and fog lamps mounted on both ends.
When viewed from the side, the new SUV Bolero Neo Plus appears longer with new 5-spoke alloy wheels. There are differences in the rear design of both cars. In comparison to Bolero Neo, Neo Plus appears more rounded in shape, and its rear bumper is also different. Like Bolero Neo, it also has a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The car will be available in three color options: Majestic Silver, Diamond White, and Napoli Black.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: Performance
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus comes with a 2.2-liter diesel engine (120 PS/280 Nm) paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This family-centric SUV does not come with an automatic gearbox or 4-wheel-drive (4WD) setup. It is a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) SUV.
