Lamborghini Revoluto Debuts in India at ₹8.89 Crore: First Plug-In Hybrid V12 Supercar, 0-100 in 2.5s

Lamborghini has launched its new supercar, Revulto, in the Indian market on Wednesday. The launch event in Mumbai revealed that this Lamborghini is the most expensive and powerful car in South India till now.

The luxurious car boasts a plug-in hybrid V12 engine, making it the first supercar to reach 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The Italian supercar manufacturer introduced Revulto to replace the Aventador LB744, discontinued in 2022. The starting price for Revulto is INR 8.89 crores (ex-showroom), and it will be sold in India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. The delivery of this car is expected to begin shortly, giving tough competition to the Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

Lamborghini Revulto: Design

The company has constructed Lamborghini Revulto on an all-carbon monocoque chassis. To modernize the car, it features sharp angles and stylish doors. The front end includes LED headlights and a thermoplastic bumper. At the rear, there are two large, Y-shaped taillamps flanking the V12 engine with dual-mounted, prominent exhausts. Additionally, an active spoiler is present, offering three positions based on the driving mode. The car’s sides boast door-mounted ORVMs, large air scoops, and stylish 21-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires, providing various design and finish options.

Lamborghini Revulto: Performance

For performance, Lamborghini’s Revulto is equipped with a plug-in hybrid setup, featuring a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 803 bhp at 9250 rpm and a maximum torque of 712 Nm at 6750 rpm. Three electric motors (one front, two rear) complement the engine, resulting in a combined power output of 1015 PS. The engine is tuned with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox that powers all wheels. The car offers 13 different riding modes, claiming a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.

Lamborghini Revulto: Interior and Features

Revulto features a comfortable and sporty two-seater cabin with premium dashboard materials. The dashboard includes an 8.4-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and 3D-printed AC vents in a hexagonal design. The car is equipped with a flat-bottom multifunctional steering wheel for driving, controlling music, Bluetooth, and audio settings. The seats are upholstered in leather and Corsa Tex fabric combination, with customization options for the 70 available interior colors. Safety features include multiple airbags, electronic stability control, navigation, hill assist, and connected car technology.

Lamborghini, the Italian car manufacturer, recently unveiled the concept model of its first electric car, Lenzzado, during the Monterey Car Week. The production version of this car is expected to launch in 2024. Lenzzado showcases Lamborghini’s new design language with added futuristic body panels.
