Honda Unicorn 2024 Launched at ₹1.19 Lakh: New LED Headlamp, Digital Cluster, 55 kmpl
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is updating its two-wheeler lineup for the Indian market. After updating the Activa 125, SP125, and SP160, the company has now launched the updated version of the Honda Unicorn.
Engine Updates and Mileage
The 2025 Honda Unicorn’s engine has been updated to comply with OBD2B norms. The company claims that the bike offers a mileage of 55 KMPL. The updated version is available in a single variant and is priced at ₹1.19 lakh (Delhi, ex-showroom). The Honda Unicorn will compete in the 160CC commuter bike segment with rivals like the Hero Xtreme 160R 2V, Bajaj Pulsar N160, and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
New Features
Honda has updated the Unicorn with a new LED headlamp and a fully digital instrument console. It now features essential readouts like a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and more. Additionally, the bike now comes with a USB Type-C charging port.
Updated Engine
The 2025 Honda Unicorn continues to feature the 162.71cc single-cylinder engine but has been updated to meet OBD2B regulations. The engine produces 13bhp and 14.58Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Retained Hardware
For 2025, the Unicorn retains its simple hardware setup, including a telescopic front fork and a monoshock rear suspension. The braking setup consists of a front disc mounted on 17-inch wheels and rear drum brakes.
