Bajaj Auto Gears Up to Launch the New Pulsar N125 on October 18
Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch the newest model of its best-selling Pulsar, the Pulsar N125. The company has sent out invitations for an event on October 16, featuring the phrase “All-New Pulsar.” While the invite does not specifically mention the model, it is widely speculated to be the Pulsar N125, as the bike has been spotted multiple times during testing. With the launch date now confirmed, excitement is building around this anticipated release.
A Stylish Urban Look for the New Pulsar N125
The company’s launch invitation hints that the upcoming Pulsar will have a “fun, tight, and urban” design. The use of the word “urban” suggests that the new Pulsar N125 could be a premium commuter bike with a sporty and youthful style. Spy shots reveal that the motorcycle features a muscular-looking fuel tank extension, split seats, and a two-piece grab rail. It is also expected to come equipped with an LED headlamp.
Competition with Hero Xtreme 125R
The new Pulsar N125 is expected to be powered by the same 125cc, single-cylinder engine found in the current Pulsar 125. However, there may be tweaks to the engine to give the bike a sportier character. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is set to compete with the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R in the 125cc segment. The motorcycle’s expected ex-showroom price is estimated to be between ₹90,000 and ₹1 Lakh.
Advanced Features and Smart Connectivity
The Pulsar N125 is likely to come with a digital console featuring smartphone connectivity. The braking hardware is expected to include a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. There is also speculation that Bajaj may introduce a variant with rear disc brakes and single-channel ABS. The suspension will likely consist of telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock suspension, ensuring a smooth ride.
