Vidya Sharma Bags Silver Medal
Vidya Sharma, a student of Marwadi University, achieved a remarkable milestone by winning a silver medal in the South-West Zone Inter-University Weightlifting Championship 2024-25. Competing in the 55kg weight category, Vidya lifted a total of 171kg (77kg snatch + 94kg clean and jerk) during the event held at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, from November 26-30, 2024.

Vidya Sharma’s stellar performance has qualified her for the All-India Inter-University Weightlifting Championship to be held at the Central University of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. This accomplishment is a proud moment for Marwadi University and highlights Vidya’s dedication and hard work.
