Jambusar Man Exploits Vadodara Woman in Love-Jihad; Threatens with Photos

A young woman from Vadodara was trapped in a love jihad scheme and sold for 22 lakh rupees to be tortured in Dubai. Vahid from Bharuch ensnared the young woman who was working in his office, abused and threatened her, repeatedly committing sexual assault. The woman revealed that Vahid intended to sell her in Dubai, but the police apprehended him and secured a one-day remand in court. The accused has been sent to jail today.

A 23-year-old woman living on Bhayli Road filed a complaint at the Sayajiganj police station. She stated that in 2023, she joined the Swastik Digital Investment Company at the Silver Line Complex, Sayajiganj. The company owner was Vahid Bashir Bhatti (age 25) from Dabha village in Jambusar, Bharuch. In July 2023, Vahid took her to Burger King at Sayajiganj Railway Station for a snack. During their conversation, Vahid took photos of her. When she asked why he took her photos, he said it was because he liked her a lot.

Forced to Sign Marriage Documents

In August 2023, when she arrived at the office, no one was present. During this time, Vahid forcibly committed sexual assault on her in his cabin. He threatened to make her video viral if she reported it, promising to tarnish her reputation, which frightened her. In November 2023, Vahid threatened her again, taking her to Kuber Bhavan, where he threatened to make her photos and videos viral and made her sign marriage registration papers. Despite her refusal for marriage, he threatened her again, making her sign the marriage form. After realizing Vahid’s intentions were not honorable, she informed her parents and canceled the marriage registration.

Sexual Assault in the Car Under Threat

The woman reported that in October 2023, while she was at the office, Vahid threatened to make her photos and videos viral and called her to the parking area beneath his office. Vahid was in his car there. He called her into the car and sexually assaulted her under threat.

Threatened to Make Photos Viral If She Spoke Out

Vahid did not allow the woman to leave her job. He threatened her, saying that if she spoke to anyone or left her job, he would make her photos viral. Subsequently, someone in distress sent the photos of Vahid with the woman to her father.

Sexual Assault After Sending Everyone on Leave

The woman stated in her complaint that in August 2023, when she arrived at the office, no one was present. She was about to leave after talking to her fellow employees. Vahid then called her to his cabin and informed her that he had given everyone a day off. He proposed to her, and when she refused, saying she did not want to be in a relationship and wanted to go home, Vahid forcefully assaulted her.
