Following the incident, the Gotri police have initiated proceedings to transfer the woman’s body for a post-mortem examination. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, showing the woman being crushed by the truck.

Despite the city’s restrictions, another young woman has fallen victim to a heavy vehicle. The driver of a concrete mixer truck collided with a two-wheeler ridden by a woman, who was carrying a young girl.
This tragic incident has been reported to involve a woman named Himani Shrimali, who lost her life, while the child was fortunately saved. Upon receiving news of the accident, local residents immediately rushed to the scene, gathering in large numbers. Emergency services, including an ambulance and police, arrived promptly at the location.
Two-and-a-Half-Year-Old Girl Loses Mother in Tragic Accident
The deceased, Himani Tarun Shrimali, leaves behind a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter named Twisha. With her mother’s passing, the child has lost her maternal protection. Himani used to drop her daughter at a daycare and then go to work at Iva Mall.
The late woman resided in Yoginagar, near Priya Talkies in the Gotri area of the city. Her husband works for a private company. After receiving treatment, the child has been taken back home.
Traffic Police’s Ineffectiveness in Controlling Heavy Vehicles: A Major Concern
It is crucial to note that despite the ban on heavy vehicles in Vadodara city, they continue to operate illegally due to the police’s alleged collusion. Innocent citizens are often becoming victims of these accidents.

In a telephone conversation with PI R.N. Patel from the Gotri police station regarding the incident, he stated that the police arrived at the scene immediately after the accident.
