Across the country, the Navratri festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm. Yesterday, at the historic Navlakhi ground in Vadodara city, a team from Delhi showcased various designs themed around Navratri using 150 drones flying together at the Vadodara Navratri Festival

This entire team came from IIT Delhi. The show featuring 150 drones was held in Vadodara for the first time, attracting thousands of people who gathered in and around the ground to witness the spectacle.

The drone show drew large crowds of people eager to watch. A significant highlight of the event was the impressive depiction of the goddess’s face, which became a focal point of attraction due to the Navratri festival.

Additionally, the 150 drones created various designs, including a couple celebrating Navratri, sponsor names, and traditional earthen lamps (diya), among other themes, which captivated the audience. This spectacle attracted throngs of people to the Navlakhi ground and surrounding areas.

Team of 10 Works Hard for 20 Days

Regarding the event, drone pilot Amitabh Goyle stated, “Today, we performed a drone show with 150 drones at the Navratri Festival in Navlakhi Ground. We came here from Delhi, and we are experts in drone shows in India.

This is the first time 150 drones have flown together in Vadodara. Our team of 10 worked for 20 days to prepare for this drone show. Since it’s the Navratri festival, we created several designs related to Navratri, and it took a lot of effort. We hope to conduct more drone shows in Vadodara in the future, especially during such festive occasions.”

He further mentioned that conducting a drone show is quite challenging due to the airport’s radar and the surrounding areas being monitored. Obtaining permissions from various locations has been difficult, and the process has been ongoing for the past week.

According to government regulations, we operate our drones at specific heights. We previously set a record by flying approximately 5,500 drones at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding function in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
