The consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to take place on January 22, not only drawing enthusiasm within India but also creating an atmosphere of excitement in many countries worldwide. A spectacular car rally was organized in the United States across seven seas in anticipation of the ceremony, where devotees passionately participated, echoing the chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram.’ The cars in the rally displayed the flags of Ayodhya Temple, India, and the United States. The rally, which commenced at 6 AM, made stops at 11 temples on its route.
Rally with 216 Cars of Ram Devotees
The American Hindu Council organized a rally on January 22 to mark the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, extending a formal invitation to the administration of American temples. This celebration is not limited to India but resonates with the enthusiasm of Ram devotees worldwide. In Houston and Michigan alone, more than 500 people participated in the rally with 216 cars, covering a route of 100 miles.
Visiting 11 Temples in a 6-Hour Rally
The rally that originated in Houston covered a route of 100 miles, passing through busy streets and leading with a truck carrying the ‘Jai Shri Ram’ chant. The rally, accompanied by the chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ made stops at 11 temples in a span of 6 hours. Approximately 2,000 children, accompanied by elderly devotees, welcomed the procession in the temples with hymns and a grand procession.
First-Ever Rally Organized by the Hindu Council
This moment was a great joy for the present Ram devotees. The Hindu Council of Houston organized the rally for the first time, providing a unique experience for Ram devotees. Similar rallies were also organized in Michigan along with Houston.
