Unidentified Attacker Hurls Stones, Damages Train Windows on Ahmedabad-Rajkot Route; Harsh Sanghavi on Board, RPF Initiates Investigation

In Rajkot last night around 9 PM, an incident occurred near the railway station involving unidentified individuals throwing stones at the C-4 and C-5 coaches of the Bharat Train coming from Ahmedabad to Rajkot. Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi, who was on the train, confirmed that the stone-throwing incident happened while the train was in the Billeshwar area. The perpetrators targeted the train with stones before it entered Rajkot, originating from a slum settlement near the railway tracks. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has initiated a thorough investigation into the entire incident, and fortunately, there have been no reported injuries or casualties.

Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi reached Rajkot from the Bharat Train yesterday. During the journey, stones were thrown at the train in the Billeshwar area.
