AAP Announces Another Candidate for Lok Sabha: Umesh Makwana to Contest from Bhavnagar Seat
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced the candidacy of one more individual for the Lok Sabha meetings. Umesh Makwana, a legislator from Botad, will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Bhavnagar. Previously, the announcement for the candidate from Bharuch constituency was made, nominating MLA Chaitra Vasava. This second announcement by the Aam Aadmi Party comes at a time when discussions about the allocation of seats within the ‘INDIA’ alliance are yet to be finalized.
INDIA Alliance Hopes to Embrace this Announcement: Sandeep Pathak
Sandeep Pathak, the Gujarat AAP coordinator, informed the media that he is currently in Gujarat to announce two candidates. As per previous announcements, Chaitra Vasava for the Bharuch Lok Sabha seat and Umesh Makwana for the Bhavnagar seat have been declared. Pathak expressed his optimism regarding the acceptance of this announcement by the INDIA Alliance and emphasized the diligent efforts put forth in winning these seats.
Arvind Kejriwal Previously Announced Chaitra Vasava’s Candidacy
Earlier in January, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his party’s candidate for the Lok Sabha elections from Gujarat’s Bharuch constituency. Addressing a rally, he stated that from the Bharuch Lok Sabha seat, Chaitra Vasava, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party, and Umesh Makwana for the Bhavnagar seat will contest the elections.
