Tragic Accident: 2 Dead, 4 Injured as Family Car Crashes into Tree Avoiding Nilgai in Patan
In an unexpected incident in Saraswati Taluka, Patan, a remarkable event unfolded recently. While on their way from Surat to their native village as part of a family trip, the Desai family encountered a unique situation. As their car approached a Nilgai, the driver attempted to steer away to avoid it, inadvertently driving into a bush.
This sudden maneuver caused the Kia car to make a loud noise. The impact with the bush was so significant that a tractor had to be used to extricate the car from the foliage. Six individuals were involved in this unforeseen event, resulting in fatalities for two of them at the scene. One person remains in critical condition, casting a shadow over what began as a joyous family outing.
Accident in Saraswati Taluka, Patan: Car loses control and collides with bush
In a tragic incident in Ganeshpura village of Saraswati Taluka, Patan, the Desai family, who resides in Surat, was visiting their native village on Sunday night. While navigating a narrow road near Vadod, the driver lost control as a Nilgai suddenly appeared on the road.
Attempting to steer away to avoid the Nilgai, the driver inadvertently drove the car into a nearby bush. The impact with the bush was severe, causing a loud crash. This unforeseen accident resulted in injuries to six members of the family who were in the car.
Sadly, one child and one woman lost their lives at the scene, while the condition of one injured person remains critical among the four others affected.
Heavy Atmosphere of Grief in Hospital
A family from Surat, deeply engrossed in discussions about their ancestral home, faced an unforeseen tragedy one night. In this incident, five-year-old Mohitkumar Maheshbhai Desai and 65-year-old Ishaben Jivabhai Desai lost their lives at the scene.
Meanwhile, Chetnaben Rajubhai Desai suffered serious injuries and is currently under intensive care in a private hospital due to her critical condition. Following this incident, a large number of people gathered at Patan Civil Hospital, creating a solemn and sorrowful atmosphere.
Unexpected Incident Involving a Nilgai on the Road
In Ganeshpura village of Saraswati Taluka, Patan district, the Desai family from Surat was visiting their ancestral home due to a family event involving Jogini Mataji. Around midnight, as they were returning from Vadod towards Vadani on the road adjacent to a hillside, a Nilgai suddenly appeared in front of their car.
In an attempt to avoid the Nilgai, driver Rajubhai Jivabhai Rabari lost control of the steering, causing the car to crash into a nearby bush with a loud bang. This unexpected incident resulted in injuries to all six occupants of the car, tragically claiming the lives of two individuals. Following the incident, word spread to Ramdevpir Ashram nearby, where their own volunteers rushed to the scene.
Upon learning of the accident involving the Rabari community, members of the community also hurried to the spot, creating a sense of urgency and concern among the villagers.
Immediate Rescue Operations and Care for the Injured
In a tragic incident on the road near Ganeshpura village, Patan district, a car collided violently with a tree due to a sudden appearance of a Nilgai on the road. Subsequently, a tractor was used to separate the car from the tree. Upon receiving notification, emergency services from 108 swiftly arrived at the scene.
Three teams from 108 were dispatched to provide immediate assistance to all the injured individuals. Among them, 5-year-old Mohitkumar Maheshbhai Rabari and Ishaben Jivabhai Rabari tragically lost their lives. The other four injured individuals were promptly transported to a nearby city hospital for urgent medical care.
Among them were car driver Rajubhai Jivabhai Desai, Jinlaben Merajbhai Rabari, Chetnaben Rajubhai Desai, and Geetaben Gobarbhai Desai. Mohitkumar Maheshbhai Mahesana, originally from Devgam, and Rajubhai Jivabhai Desai’s nephew, were also present in the village due to a family event.
Tragic Accident Involving a Family Returning from Surat
Former Sarpanch Devsinhbhai Nagjibhai informed that a family from Surat was visiting their hometown with their family. They had taken the car to leave for their destination. However, around midnight, near Vagadod-Vadani Road, a Nilgai suddenly appeared, prompting the driver to swerve to avoid it, resulting in a collision with a tree on the roadside.
This unfortunate incident caused the deaths of two individuals from the car among the six passengers. The other injured individuals were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
