According to a report by the Austin American-Statesman, 45-year-old Arvind Mani, his 40-year-old wife Pradeepa Arvind, and their 17-year-old daughter Andril Arvind have died in the car accident. They were residents of Llano.
The deceased couple’s 14-year-old son, Adiryan, was not in the car at the time of the accident and survived. He is now the only surviving member of the family. Many individuals and organizations have come forward to offer support to the surviving child.

Over $700,000 has been raised through a fund created for financial support following the tragic accident. At the time of the crash, Arvind and his wife were taking their daughter to college in North Texas. Their 17-year-old daughter had recently completed high school and was on her way to enroll at Dallas University, where she planned to study computer science.
According to officials, the accident resulted in the deaths of five people, including the car’s driver. Local media reports indicate that there is no hope for the survivors.

This accident is considered one of the most severe in 26 years. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the collision between the two cars was caused by a tire blowout.
It is estimated that one car was traveling at a speed of 161 km/h, while the other was going at 112 km/h. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on U.S. Highway 281.

The accident occurred when the rear tire of a 2004 Cadillac CTS blew out, causing the vehicle to lose control and veer into oncoming traffic.
At the time, the Cadillac CTS collided with a 2024 Kia Telluride traveling north. The Kia Telluride was being driven by Arvind Mani, while the Cadillac CTS was driven by 31-year-old Jayson Gutierrez Durán from Copperas Cove, Texas. A woman was also in the Cadillac at the time of the crash.
