State Government’s Decision on Recruitment – Jignesh Mevani

During a protest by candidates who passed the TET-TAT exams in Gandhinagar, Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani also joined, stating that unemployment is at its peak in Gujarat and across India. He pointed out that the state government has not filled vacant positions and candidates who passed TET-TAT have been awaiting appointments for a long time.

There is a shortage of over 70,000 teachers while more than 90,000 TET-TAT qualified candidates are demanding permanent jobs. Candidates have been protesting for a long time, but the government has not initiated discussions with them. If the government does not make an immediate decision on this matter, a rally will be organized in Ahmedabad in the coming days to protest.
