Teacher Suspended for Assaulting Student at Ahmedabad’s Madhav Public School: 10 Slaps in 4 Seconds Caught on CCTV Video

An incident has emerged from a school in the eastern region of Ahmedabad, where a teacher was seen physically assaulting a student. The teacher approached the student at their desk and struck them, eventually dragging them to the front of the class. He then slammed the student’s head against the wall and continued to hit them. 

The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage. Upon learning of the incident, the District Education Officer (DEO) issued a notice to Madhav Public School, requesting clarification regarding the video. Following the incident, the school has suspended the mathematics teacher, Abhishek Patel.

Teacher Slaps Student 10 Times in Madhav Public School

A student studying at Madhav Public School in the Vatva area of the city was sitting at their desk when they were physically assaulted by a teacher for an unknown reason. CCTV footage of the entire incident has surfaced, showing the teacher approaching the student’s desk, grabbing them, and bringing them to the blackboard before slamming their head against the wall. 

In just four seconds, the teacher delivered ten slaps one after the other. Following this, the teacher hit the student hard on the back and pushed them away. The education department has taken note of the viral CCTV video.

Teacher Suspended Following Incident at Ahmedabad School

Ahmedabad City DEO Rohit Choudhary stated that upon becoming aware of the viral video, the school was issued an immediate notice. The school has suspended the teacher involved in the incident; however, they have been asked to provide clarification regarding the situation.
