Surat: MBBS Graduate from Ukraine Killed in Truck Accident, Brother Expresses Grief

Dump truck drivers in Surat city have become reckless, and they are driving through the city like wild bulls during no-entry hours. A similar incident occurred at Ambaji Chowk on Ved Road, where a dump truck driver ran over a student who had completed his MBBS from Ukraine, killing him on the spot. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the truck driver and filed a case. The deceased student’s brother stated, “It’s as if the sky has fallen on us.”

The Deceased’s Father is Retired

According to the information received, the family originally hails from Junagadh and currently resides in Sant Jalaram Society in the Katargam area. Jasubhai Narigra lives with his family and is currently retired. Jasubhai has two sons, of which 24-year-old Vivek had recently returned to Surat after completing his MBBS from Ukraine.

Last Friday morning, Vivek was passing by Ambaji Temple on Ved Road on his two-wheeler when a recklessly driven dump truck hit his vehicle from behind. This caused serious injuries to Vivek. He was immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his severe injuries shortly after.
