Surat’s 5-Year-Old Hayan Sets World Record: Identifies Over 50 National Flags in 1 Minute 45 Seconds
5-Year-Old Surti Boy Identifies Flags of Over 50 Countries
At the tender age of 5, when most children are engrossed in play, Hayan Rellia from Surat has achieved an extraordinary feat. He can identify and name the flags of more than 50 countries. This remarkable ability has earned him a place in the Worldwide Book of Records. When presented with any national flag, Hayan instantly names the country, as if engaged in a rapid-fire round.
Living in the Vesu area of Surat, Hayan Rellia can accurately recognize and name flags from over 50 different countries. Despite his young age, he has an impressive memory of these flags. In just 1 minute and 45 seconds, he has identified flags from over 50 countries, setting a record in the Worldwide Book of Records.
Parents Amazed by Hayan’s Flag Recognition Skills
Hayan’s parents are astonished by his abilities. His mother, a teacher, introduced him to flashcards featuring flags from various countries. She didn’t anticipate that these flashcards would lead him to recognize and name flags from different nations. Hayan received no formal training for this skill; he simply began recognizing flags while playing with the cards. He spent 5 to 10 minutes a day with the flashcards, gradually memorizing the flags of 50 countries.
Only 5 Minutes a Day
Krusha Rellia, Hayan’s mother, shared that when he was 2 years old, she frequently provided him with information about different country flags. She was surprised when he not only memorized the names of flags from over 30 countries but also started identifying which flag belonged to which country. She had bought many flashcards, including those with flags from around the world. After seeing these flashcards, Hayan began to recognize all the flags. As parents, they are thrilled with his achievement and hope he will eventually recognize the flags of all 195 countries. Hayan only needs 5 minutes a day to look at the cards, and in a short period, he has learned to identify flags from over 50 countries by name.
We Are Proud
Hayan’s father, Fenil Rellia, expressed his pride and happiness regarding his child’s achievement. He noted that, typically, children learn from their parents, but in this case, it is the reverse. They often ask Hayan how he can recognize and name so many flags so easily. When they inquire about his technique, he simply states that he does not have any special tricks. Unlike them, who learned to recognize flags through cricket when they were young, Hayan, at just 5 years old, has memorized flags from over 50 countries, which they consider a significant accomplishment.
