Incident during Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mohotsav Yatra
The Pran Pratishtha Mohotsav of Ram Mandir, scheduled to be held in Ayodhya on the 22nd, has stirred enthusiastic anticipation among Ram devotees nationwide. However, an unfortunate incident occurred during a procession of Lord Shri Ram on the eve of the Pran Pratishtha Mohotsav in Kheralu, Mehsana district.
During the Yatra organized by Ram devotees in Kheralu, a chaotic situation unfolded when anti-social elements started pelting stones at the procession in the Belim area around four o’clock in the evening. In response, the police had to resort to releasing tear gas shells to regain control. Subsequently, police raids have been initiated in the area to bring the situation under control.
This incident has not dampened the overall excitement and fervor surrounding the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mohotsav, which is eagerly anticipated across the country.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, capturing the stone-pelting incident in the Belim area of Kheralu, some women and girls are seen joining youths from Agasi in throwing stones. The police have initiated efforts to locate and identify these individuals involved in the incident.
Currently, the situation is reported to be fully under control, as stated by the Range Inspector General (IG). During the departure of the procession, a minor stone-pelting incident occurred on a bridge, prompting the police to take immediate action. Law enforcement was present with the Yatra when the incident transpired, and measures were taken swiftly to prevent any escalation. The area is now peaceful, with police patrolling the vicinity.
Based on preliminary information, tear gas cells were deployed, and approximately 15 individuals have been detained in connection with the matter. Stringent legal actions will be taken against those found responsible for the disturbance.
