Stone Pelting at Bajrang Dal’s Shaurya Jagran Yatra Sparks Police Response

During Bajrang Dal’s awareness march in Selamba, individuals from a different community reportedly engaged in stone pelting, leading to a tense situation. The police teams from the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) and Special Operations Group (SOG) in Narmada district have been deployed to Selamba to regain control of the situation. Tear gas shells were also used to manage the situation.

The awareness march, organized by Bajrang Dal, had initially been planned to cover the entire Narmada district. However, upon reaching Selamba, it was reported that individuals from a different community resorted to stone pelting during the march, further escalating the situation. In response to these incidents, the Narmada district Dy.SP and SOG teams have been dispatched to Selamba to restore order, with efforts being made to gain control of the situation by using tear gas shells.
