Speeding Car Hits Biker in Surat, Resulting in Death; Blood Spilled on Road with BJP Scarf and Thumbs Up Found Inside Vehicle

An accident has occurred once again on the overbridge in Surat. Today (October 20), a speeding car hit a motorcyclist on the Udhna Doorway overbridge, resulting in the biker’s death at the scene. It is suspected that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol. 

Additionally, a BJP Scarf, a glass, a thumbs-up gesture, and a packet of cigarettes were found inside the car. Blood was seen on the road where the biker fell. The Salabatpura police are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.

BJP Scarf Found in Car After Accident on Overbridge in Surat

According to reports, an accident occurred on the Udhna Doorway overbridge in Surat. A speeding car struck a motorcyclist, resulting in the biker’s death at the scene early in the morning. 

There are suspicions that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol, as a bottle of thumbs-up, a glass, and a packet of cigarettes were found in the car. Additionally, a BJP Scarf was also discovered inside the vehicle.

Police Initiate Identification Process for Biker After Accident

The Skoda car with registration number GJ 05 JS 5161 collided with a Honda motorcycle. Due to the car’s high speed, it mounted the divider following the accident. The impact was so severe that the car’s airbags were deployed. 

Upon learning of the incident, the Salabatpura police arrived at the scene to conduct further investigations. During their inquiry, it was revealed that the biker was a textile trader. The police are currently working to apprehend the car driver involved in the incident.

Deceased Biker Identified as Textile Trader

The biker who lost his life in the accident on the Udhna overbridge has been identified as 45-year-old Sanjaykumar Harkishan Dhoot. Originally from Rajasthan, Sanjay lived with his family in the Sakaar Apartments located in the City Light area of Surat. 

He is survived by his wife and one son. Sanjay was a textile trader and was managing his family’s livelihood through his business. This morning, he was on his way to the station to pick up his parents, who were arriving in Surat by the Surynagari train from Jodhpur.

Family Rushes to Hospital Following Tragic Accident

After leaving his home, Sanjay was crossing the Udhna Doorway overbridge when he was struck by a speeding car, resulting in his death at the scene. His body has been transported to the SMIMER Hospital for a post-mortem examination. 

Upon learning of the incident, his family hurried to the hospital. The atmosphere turned somber due to their cries of grief. The Salabatpura police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
