Fatal Collision on S.G. Highway: Two Cars Crash Near Palladium Mall Late at Night, Resulting in One Fatality and Two Severe Injuries
Last night (July 13), a fatal accident occurred near Palladium Mall on S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad, involving two cars. In this incident, one person tragically died on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Sola Civil Hospital for treatment. The deceased had informed his family that he was going out for dinner with friends and would be late returning home, but the family received the news of his death the following morning.
It is worth noting that just 12 days ago (July 1), a Fortuner car, speeding at 200 km/h, collided with a Thar vehicle on Bopal SP Ring Road, resulting in the deaths of three people. Additionally, the Fortuner was found to be carrying alcohol worth 1 lakh rupees. Most of the serious accidents in Ahmedabad have been recorded during nighttime.
Details of the Incident Near SG Highway, Palladium Mall
According to available information, a collision occurred between two cars near Palladium Mall on SG Highway, resulting in one car overturning. In this incident, 30-year-old Alpeshbhai Gagdaker lost his life on the spot. Meanwhile, two other individuals suffered serious injuries and were taken for treatment to Sola Civil Hospital.
Among them, 26-year-old Mayurbhai Sindhi was treated in the ICU at Sola Civil Hospital, while 28-year-old Kamlabhai Sindhi received immediate care at the hospital’s emergency treatment center.
Alpesh Gagdaker Succumbs to Injuries
In a recent accident on S.G. Highway near Palladium Mall, Ahmedabad, due to sudden collision, blood stained the road once again. Alpesh Mitro, who lived in Kuber Nagar, had left home in the evening saying, “I’m going out, I’ll be back soon,” but his family received news of his death early in the morning.
Around 3:00 AM, his car met with an accident on S.G. Highway near Palladium Mall. Alpesh Sanjaybhai Gagdaker lost his life in this incident. Alpesh had two children and a wife waiting for him at home. At this time, his family is shattered by the news of his death. The police are investigating the entire incident of the accident. The police are also attempting to search for CCTV footage of the accident time.
“He Went Out with Friends, But…”
Following Alpesh’s tragic death in the accident, family members informed Divya Bhaskar that he had gone out with friends that night, saying he would return soon. This was a usual activity for him. He went out with his friends but in the morning, news of his death arrived.
His friends were also involved in the same routine activities with him. One friend was in good condition, and they all lived in the Nagar-Kuber Nagar area.
Tragic Accident Near Bopal Bridge: Three Deaths in 12 Days
On July 1, a fatal accident occurred near Bopal Bridge, where two cars collided early in the morning. This accident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, with one person sustaining serious injuries and being rushed to Sola Civil Hospital for treatment.
One of the cars involved was a heavily intoxicated Fortuner SUV, which collided head-on with another vehicle. Inside the Fortuner, Ajit Kathi and two others lost their lives. The speedometer of the vehicle showed it was traveling at 200 km/h. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was called in to gather evidence and investigate the incident.
Incident Involving Fortuner Ends in Tragedy
A tragic incident occurred when a Toyota Fortuner was speeding towards Bopal from Vaishnodevi early in the morning. The Fortuner was occupied by Om Prakash alias Pappu (from Rajasthan) and Rajuram Bishnoi (from Rajasthan). As it approached Bopal Bridge, it lost control and swerved. Inside were Ajit Kathi and Manish Bhatt.
Amidst this, the vehicle took a turn towards Rajpath Club Road, resulting in a fatal crash. Both Manish Bhatt, Ajit Kathi, and Om Prakash lost their lives, while Rajuram Bishnoi survived. It is notable that the Fortuner was speeding uncontrollably at the time of the accident.
