Seven Dead in Four Accidents: Car Crash on Nadiad Express Highway, Luxury Bus Collides with Truck Near Tarapur, Three Brothers Killed in Dahod

Today, four separate accidents have been reported, resulting in a total of seven deaths and more than fifteen injuries. On the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Express Highway near Nadiad, three people died when the tire of a speeding car burst, causing it to collide with a truck. Following the accident, an estimated 15 kilometers of traffic jam was reported on the expressway. 

The second accident occurred in Dahod, where a head-on collision between two motorcycles late at night claimed the lives of three young men. The third accident took place on the Bagodara-Vataman Highway, near Tarapur Chowkdi, where a luxury bus and a truck, both from a private company, collided. The fourth accident was reported from Surat, where one person lost their life.

Car Crashes into Truck After Jumping Divider, Three Dead

A severe accident occurred late Tuesday night near Bilodra Bridge on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Express Highway close to Nadiad. A speeding car’s tire suddenly burst, causing the vehicle to jump the divider and crash into an oncoming truck. 

The impact caused the car to turn into a mangled wreck. A woman and two men, who were inside the car, lost their lives, while two others sustained serious injuries.

Three Dead in Accident, Police Begin Investigation

Upon receiving information about the accident, Nadiad Rural Police and the Express Highway Patrolling team rushed to the scene. The police have initiated efforts to identify the deceased and are in the process of recording statements from the injured individuals. 

The deceased include one woman and two men. All three bodies have been taken to Nadiad Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Local Resident Arrives at Accident Scene Immediately

Local resident Praveen Singh Rathod stated that upon hearing a loud noise late at night, he immediately rushed to the Express Highway. There, he found the truck a little ahead of the crash site and the car a short distance away. 

He then helped remove the wreckage of the car to rescue the trapped individuals. He managed to pull out the three deceased bodies and two injured persons, who were then rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Estimated 15-Kilometer Traffic Jam Caused by Accident

Regarding the accident, Rajendra Pandya, the manager of the Express Highway Maintenance Department, stated that the incident occurred on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara lane. Following the crash, both vehicles were moved off the road, and the highway was closed for some time, causing an estimated 15-kilometer traffic jam. 

Additionally, the truck involved in the accident was unable to start, which further delayed the clearing process, contributing to the traffic congestion. However, the traffic has now been cleared and the lane is open..

Second Accident in Dahod Claims Lives of Three Young Men

Another accident has been reported from Dahod. A tragic collision occurred between two motorcycles in Toyani village, Devgad Bariya taluka. 

Three young men on one of the bikes sustained serious injuries, and one of them died at the scene, while the other two succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Three people on the second motorcycle were also injured and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Three Brothers from Varela Village Die in Tragic Motorcycle Accident

According to reports, a tragic accident occurred late last night on the Piplod-Randhikpur Road in Toyani village, Devgad Bariya taluka, when two motorcycles collided head-on. Upon hearing the crash, nearby residents rushed to the scene and contacted emergency services. An ambulance arrived promptly and took the injured individuals to the hospital for immediate treatment. 

Both motorcycles had three people each, with one of the bikes carrying three brothers from Varela village. The brothers suffered severe fatal injuries, with one dying at the scene and the other two succumbing to their injuries during treatment. 

The other motorcycle had three individuals who were injured and admitted to a hospital in Vadodara for further care. The death of the three brothers has caused immense grief in their family. The Piplod police have reached the scene and have initiated further investigation.

Third Accident on Bagodara-Vataman Highway Leaves Over Ten Injured

A third accident occurred on the Bagodara-Vataman Highway, near Tarapur Chowkdi, where a private luxury bus collided with a truck, leaving more than ten passengers injured. 

According to reports, the driver of a private luxury bus traveling from Surat to Junagadh lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into the back of a truck ahead. Around ten people were injured in the accident, with six of them reported to have sustained serious injuries.

Six Seriously Injured Victims Referred to Ahmedabad for Further Treatment

Following the accident, a police convoy arrived at the scene, and ambulances from Bagodara, Bawala, and Fedra rushed to provide immediate assistance. The injured were initially taken to the Bagodara Health Center for treatment. Meanwhile, six individuals who sustained serious injuries were referred to hospitals in Ahmedabad for further medical care.

Hit-and-Run Accident in Surat Claims One Life

A fourth accident has been reported from Surat. In the limits of Navi Pardi village in Kamrej taluka, near Kamrej Sugar, a laborer was crossing the National Highway. While crossing, the laborer was struck by an unidentified vehicle speeding on the highway. 

The impact caused the laborer to fall onto the road, and he sustained severe injuries, resulting in his death at the scene. The driver of the vehicle responsible for the hit-and-run fled the scene after the accident.

Unidentified Vehicle Strikes Pedestrian Crossing Highway in Surat

Upon being informed of the incident, the NHAI team from Surat district rushed to the site immediately. It is worth noting that high-speed vehicles frequently cause such accidents in Surat district, putting innocent lives at risk and pushing them to the brink of death.
