In Mumbai, a woman, who is a business executive and a doctor, has filed a case of sexual assault against Sajjan Jindal, the Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of JSW Group. The case has been registered at the Bandra Kurla Complex police station in Mumbai under sections 376, 354, and 503 of the Indian Penal Code.
The incident reportedly dates back to January 24, 2022, when the woman initially approached the police to file a complaint, but the case was not registered at that time. Subsequently, on December 5, the woman filed a writ petition in court, and following the court’s order, the police registered an FIR on December 13.

However, the police reportedly initially declined to register the case when the woman approached them on October 8, 2021.
