Today in Ayodhya, a grand tableau unfolded, encompassing 19 key moments in the life of Lord Rama, from his divine birth to the illustrious coronation. The tableau serves as a vibrant narrative, encapsulating the teachings and cultural events spanning the era of the Ramayana.
The depiction chronicles the educational endeavors during the Ramayana era, cultural programs from the southern to the northern regions, emphasis on security and the establishment of a fearless society, rights of children, foundational education, the sacred marriage of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, government initiatives for the weddings of daughters, basic education for girls, government arrangements for the safety of women, messages of women’s dignity, helpline numbers for women, environmental conservation, the construction of the Rameshwaram Bridge, the celestial Pushpaka Viman, advancements in air travel connectivity, noteworthy events, improvements in laws and governance, the reunion of Shabari and Lord Rama, the burning of Lanka, and initiatives against land mafias, among others.
Grand Light and Sound Show to Illuminate the Ramayana
In a spectacular showcase of devotion and celebration, a monumental light and sound show themed on the Ramayana will unfold at Ram Ki Paudi. Spanning a massive 200×60 feet screen, this visually stunning presentation will narrate key events from Lord Rama’s life, starting from his divine birth to the illustrious coronation ceremony.
During this timeframe, approximately 50 diplomats from nearly 50 countries are expected to bear witness to the Diwali festivities. A remarkable contribution from over 25,000 volunteers has resulted in the creation of 16×16 lamp blocks, each containing 256 meticulously crafted diyas. Every volunteer will illuminate 85 to 90 diyas, contributing to the grandeur of the event.
The meticulous preparation involves the cleaning and filling of oil and wick in more than 24 lakh diyas. The volunteer-led efforts, including supervisors, coordinators, and counters, commenced on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. The counting and organization of diyas will be supervised under the watchful eyes of the Guinness Book of World Records team. This process is anticipated to conclude by around 6:00 PM in the evening.
Massive Coordination for Diwali Celebrations at Ghats: 12 Supervisors, 95 Ghat Incharges, and Over 1000 Coordinators
Dr. Vijayendu Chaturvedi, the Media Incharge of Avadh University, announced that a historic moment is in the making for Diwali celebrations, thanks to the dedicated efforts of all volunteers and officials associated with the Deepotsav celebration. He mentioned that all volunteers participating in the Deepotsav have been identified with distinctive acknowledgment cards, and it is suggested that they wear khadi attire for the occasion.
A meticulous arrangement has been put in place at the ghats, involving 12 supervisors, 95 ghat in-charges, and over 1000 coordinators. These individuals are working together to ensure the spectacular illumination of Ram Ki Paudi with a kaleidoscope of colors during the festival of lights. This coordinated effort guarantees a visually stunning experience for those witnessing the divine spectacle at Ram Ki Paudi, creating a unique and separate viewing experience during the nighttime festivities.
Creation of Ram Mandir Model Using 1,80,000 Diyas
A magnificent model of the Ram Mandir has been crafted using 6,000 earthen lamps on the premises of Ram Ki Paudi, employing the technique of deepmala. This intricately designed model, showcasing 3D effects, is the collaborative effort of 150 fine arts students from Avadh University under the guidance of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya. The model is an awe-inspiring representation, incorporating a 3D effigy of Lord Shri Ram depicted in a victorious pose, commemorating the triumph of the construction of the Ram Mandir after a 500-year struggle.
The creation of this stunning Ram Mandir model required the placement of an impressive 1,80,000 diyas. Starting today, Delhi-based projection system company’s engineer, Arvind, has revealed that the installation of the country’s largest sound and light screen at Ram Ki Paudi is now complete. This impressive setup promises to offer daily visual delights to the public, showcasing various episodes from the epic Ramayana after the Diwali festival.
With this state-of-the-art sound and light system, people will have the opportunity to witness the diverse episodes of Ramayana along the banks of the Sarayu River every evening. Prime Minister Modi Attends Diwali Celebrations in Ayodhya for 2022
In the recent year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the Diwali celebrations in Ayodhya. During the festivities, he participated in a laser show portraying the character of Lord Rama. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel of Uttar Pradesh were also in attendance along with PM Modi. In the previous year (2021), a remarkable display of 1.2 million diyas took place in Ayodhya. Following that, 900,000 diyas were illuminated at Ram Ki Paudi, and the remaining 300,000 were distributed throughout Ayodhya.
