The most shocking revelation was the discovery of not just a few but a total of around 200 government files. The investigation team was astonished to find these files bundled in various packets.

Even more startling revelations have emerged from the incident. It has been reported that “government officials” themselves delivered these files to Alpna Mitra’s residence. According to sources, some officials arrived at Alpna Mitra’s home in a Bolero jeep marked for Water Works and left these bundles there.

The investigation was initiated based on information suggesting that the retired City Engineer was conducting “administrative work” from home. It is claimed that this is the first time in the history of the municipal corporation that a retired Class-1 officer’s home has been raided by vigilance in this manner. Notably, Alpna Mitra had previously claimed that unknown individuals had left these files at her home without her knowledge.
