The viral video claims that during the event, when a statue of Lord Vithal was brought on stage to be presented to Rahul, he refused to accept it. Many verified users who shared the video questioned Rahul Gandhi’s actions and raised concerns whether the public would accept disrespect towards Lord Vithal in the upcoming elections.
Amit Malviya, the national convenor of BJP’s IT cell, tweeted about the viral video linked with Rahul Gandhi, stating, “Rahul Gandhi refused to accept the statue of Lord Vithal on stage. Disrespecting this deity is an insult to millions of Hindu devotees. From DMK to Congress, hatred against Hindus is evident. Today, the I.N.D.I.A alliance is uniting Hindutva. Rahul Gandhi is suffering from Hinduphobia.”
Rahul Gandhi Refuses to Accept Lord Vitthal Idol Offered by Congress Worker in Nashik
A tweet by Amit Malviya garnered more than 8,000 likes and was retweeted over 4,000 times. A verified user named Jitendra Pratap Singh tweeted that Congress workers in Maharashtra’s Nashik made significant efforts to present Rahul Gandhi with an idol of Lord Vitthal. However, Rahul declined to accept the idol and pushed it away with his hand. The workers made a total of nine attempts, but each time Rahul Gandhi refused, displaying apparent disdain towards the Christian family’s dislike for the Hindu religion.

At the same time, a user named Mandar tweeted – “If Lord Vithal is not accepted, will the public accept it in the elections?”

Amidst scrutiny, news surfaced that a viral video had been circulating, showing an incomplete portion, leading to the misconception that Rahul Gandhi had not installed the statue of Lord Vithal.
However, this is untrue. To verify the authenticity of the viral video, we investigated Rahul Gandhi’s verified YouTube channel. Here, we found the complete video of the farmers’ mega-conference held in Nashik on March 14th.
It is reported that Rahul Gandhi respectfully embraced the idol of Lord Vitthal within 17 minutes and 20 seconds to 30 seconds by watching the video.
During the investigation, we also found a tweet from the Maharashtra Congress, in which Rahul Gandhi is seen visiting the idol of Lord Vitthal.
