Police have taken action against an individual who posted a video on X (Twitter) showing vehicles falling into a pothole and getting damaged. The video was originally from Taiwan but was shared with the false claim that it was from Gujarat, attempting to tarnish the state’s reputation. The police tracked down the person behind the post and found him to be from Nadiad. The crime branch has arrested him and initiated legal proceedings.

Arrest Made After Video Found to be from Taiwan

According to police sources, a post appeared on X a while ago showing vehicles falling into a pothole and getting damaged. This video was falsely associated with Gujarat. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the video was fake and the shop in the background was not from India. The Ahmedabad Crime Branch discovered that the video was posted by Prashant Dalwadi from Nadiad. The video was originally from Taiwan. Consequently, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch arrested Prashant Dalwadi and started legal proceedings.

Accused Has Posted Multiple Instances

Crime branch sources revealed that Prashant Dalwadi, residing in Nadiad, often posts such content on X, influenced by his political affiliations. However, this time, the posted video was from another country and falsely linked to Gujarat, prompting an investigation. Prashant Dalwadi, who is a businessman and proficient in English, posts on X during specific times. Since this post was misleading, the matter is under investigation.
