MLA Kirit Patel Abuses in New Patan University Video, Targets Registrar and Police
On December 16, MLA Kirit Patel and members of the Patan District NSUI staged a hunger strike at HNGU University in Patan over various issues. However, the protest turned aggressive as NSUI workers and the MLA displayed unruly behavior. NSUI City General Secretary Adnan Memon slapped a police officer present at the scene, while Kirit Patel and other NSUI workers engaged in pushing and shoving the police multiple times.
MLA Kirit Patel Abuses Deputy Registrar in His Office
The situation escalated further when Patan’s Congress MLA Kirit Patel entered the Deputy Registrar’s chamber and hurled abusive language directly into his ear. Additionally, verbal abuse towards the police also took place. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
Police Complaint Filed Against MLA Kirit Patel and NSUI Members
Following the aggressive protest by NSUI and Congress leaders, a police complaint has been filed. The PSI of Patan City B Division Police Station has registered a case against MLA Kirit Patel, his son, and 14 named individuals, along with a crowd of 200 people.
