Massive Fire on SG Highway: Titanium Square Offices Burnt, 28 Fire Trucks Deployed
A massive fire broke out early in the morning at Titanium Square, a commercial building near Thaltej Crossroads on SG Highway in Ahmedabad. The fire originated on the ninth floor of Block C. Fire brigade teams, including senior officials, rushed to the scene with 28 fire trucks. After three hours of intense efforts, the fire was completely brought under control. More than 12 offices across three floors were destroyed. Initial reports suggest the fire was caused by a short circuit.
28 Fire Trucks Rushed to the Scene
Divisional Chief Fire Officer Swastik Jadeja and Inayatsinh stated that the fire broke out on the ninth floor of the Titanium Square building near Thaltej Crossroads on SG Highway. The fire brigade received a call around 4:23 AM, following which teams from Prahladnagar and Thaltej fire stations were dispatched. By the time the fire brigade arrived, the fire had already spread extensively, reaching the 10th and 11th floors as well. Due to the severity of the blaze, additional fire teams from Chandkheda, Sabarmati, and Maninagar stations were called, making a total of 28 fire trucks on-site.
Three Floors Completely Burned
Senior fire officials also arrived at the scene, and firefighters used various equipment to spray water and contain the fire. The fire had completely engulfed three floors of the commercial building. Firefighters had to break office doors and use specialized tools to control the blaze. After three hours of strenuous effort, the fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire entirely. Offices located on the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors were completely destroyed. Fortunately, since the fire occurred early in the morning, no one was present in the offices, preventing significant loss of life.
