Drone Launches Trishul and 25 Kg Flower Shower: Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Echoes ‘Har Har Mahadev

From tomorrow, Monday, the Shravan month will begin for Gujaratis, marking the month of worship for Lord Shiva. In this holy month, a Kavadyatra was organized in Ahmedabad city. This Kavadyatra is planned from Ahmedabad to Amarnath Dham in Gandhinagar. This year, in 2024, the 10th Kavadyatra was held, covering a distance of 55 kilometers from Amraiwadi to Amarnath Dham in Gandhinagar, with more than 4,000 Kavadyas walking from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. The Kavadyatra started this morning with thousands of devotees joining in, chanting ‘Bam Bam Bhole’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev,’ creating a devotional atmosphere in the entire area.

Floral Showers on 4,000 Kavadis via Drone

In the 55 km long Kavadyatra from Amraiwadi area of Ahmedabad city to Amarnath Dham in Gandhinagar, all Kavadis dressed in saffron clothes will reach Gandhinagar on foot. This Yatra is organized by the Vishva Kalyan Sanstha Amarnath and Jai Ambe Kavadyatra Association. This year marks the 10th Kavadyatra, and at the start this morning, more than 25 kilos of flowers were showered on the 4,000 Kavadis via drone.

Temples Will Overflow with Devotees from Tomorrow

From tomorrow, according to the Hindu calendar, the Shravan month will begin for Gujaratis. This year, the Shravan month starts on a Monday and also ends on a Monday, which is a joyous feeling for devotees. This year, there will be 5 Mondays in the Shravan month. Tomorrow is the first day of Shravan and also a Monday, so devotees will visit Shiva temples to perform prayers and worship Lord Shiva. At Amarnath Dham in Gandhinagar, the trees carried in this Kavadyatra will be used for ceremonial bathing. Consequently, temples, especially Amarnath Dham, will overflow with devotees. It is significant that at Amarnath Dham, there is a structure resembling the twelve Jyotirlingas, where water offerings will be made.
