A grand event organized by the Swaminarayan sect is set to take place tomorrow at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This occasion marks the 50th anniversary of the tradition of registering volunteers, which began in 1972. The program will run on December 7 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Spectacular Activities Planned for Swaminarayan Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav

The Swaminarayan Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav, expected to witness an audience of over 1 lakh people, will feature several awe-inspiring activities. For this grand event, BAPS has prepared a special kirtan. The unique highlight is that this 5-minute 23-second kirtan will be sung collectively by all attendees, potentially setting a new record.

To ensure a harmonious group performance, BAPS has released a practice video by Sadhu Yagnapriyadasji to guide the workers in perfecting the kirtan.

Unique LED Light Show to Enhance Cultural Program at Narendra Modi Stadium

As part of the grand event at the world’s largest Narendra Modi Stadium, every attendee will receive an LED light belt distributed by volunteers. During the program, these belts will automatically light up at specific times, adding to the cultural experience.

The lighting pattern is pre-arranged based on seat numbers, and attendees are requested not to change their assigned seats until the program concludes. This synchronization ensures a mesmerizing lighting effect aligned with the stadium’s block-wise song presentation.

Volunteers to Perform Special Songs and Receive Blessed Food at the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav

The Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav will feature over five unique songs, all composed and performed by young volunteers from BAPS rather than professionals. Various groups have been preparing for these performances for several months to ensure a memorable experience.

Every volunteer attending the event will receive two food packets—one containing snacks and the other containing prasad, which will include 13 items. The prasad food packets will be specially blessed by Mahant Swami.

Dress Code Announced for Volunteers Attending the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav

To maintain the event’s theme in a packed stadium of over 1 lakh attendees, a specific dress code has been established. Male volunteers are required to wear the official Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav T-shirt along with black or blue pants. Female volunteers are expected to wear red and cream-colored dresses or sarees to align with the event’s aesthetics.

Record-Breaking Attendance Expected at BAPS Event in World’s Largest Stadium

BAPS has previously hosted events in three major stadiums across India. The first was held at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel Stadium, with a capacity of 50,000. The second event took place at the D.Y. Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai, accommodating 45,300 attendees.

This time, the grand event will be held at the world’s largest stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium, with an audience exceeding 1 lakh people. To mark the occasion, a spectacular fireworks display worth lakhs of rupees has also been planned, adding to the event’s grandeur.

Safety Guidelines Issued for Attendees at Narendra Modi Stadium

To ensure safety during the event, BAPS has issued specific instructions for attendees.

• Every individual must carry a valid ID, such as an Aadhaar Card, Driver’s License, or Voter ID, for identification purposes.
• Items like shawls, caps, sweaters, or jackets must be carried in hand during the security check if not worn. After the check, these items can be placed in an empty plastic bag or carry bag brought along by the attendee.

These measures have been implemented to maintain security and smooth operations at the grand event.
