The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) organizes vibrant cultural and entertainment programs for its residents every year. This year, the Kankaria Carnival 2024 is scheduled to take place from December 25 to December 31.
For the first time, the carnival will feature unique and innovative attractions such as:

- Underwater Dance Performances
- The renowned Human Pyro Show (a dance with fire) inspired by Dubai performances.
Another major highlight will be an attempt to secure a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Around 1,000 children from municipal schools and anganwadis will come together to unwrap and eat candy and chocolates in a synchronized manner to achieve this milestone.
The carnival will be inaugurated on December 25th in the evening by the Chief Minister. A special Carnival Parade, based on the theme Developed Gujarat, Developed India, will also be organized for the first time during the event.

Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani and Deputy Municipal Commissioner Jayesh Upadhyay have announced the grand organization of Kankaria Carnival 2024.
